Ambrose Akinmusire

At the Seattle Art Museum, Ambrose Akinmusire kicked off the Earshot Jazz 2014 Summer Concert series.

Winner of the 2007 Thelonious Monk Trumpet Competition and the Carmine Caruso International Jazz Trumpet Solo Competition, two of the most prestigious awards in jazz, the Oakland-born Ambrose Akinmusire has established himself as an extremely bright and intriguing rising star.
