Down at the Ballard Locks in Seattle last weekend, Jana and I got to spend some time with Vinnie and Jeff. We made some engagement photos in the unusually beautiful sunshine. Jeff and Vinnie are getting married down in the San Francisco Bay area around the beginning of May. Originally we planned to meet in Golden Gardens but it turned out there was some kind of car rally going on so we moved over to the Ballard Locks. (” The Hiram M. Chittenden Locks, built in 1911 and often nicknamed the Ballard Locks, provides a link for boats between the salt water of Puget Sound and the fresh water of the Ship Canal, which connects eastward to Lake Union and Lake Washington.” from their website) It worked out well as it is a beautiful park to stroll in on a sunny day.
