Anna and Jeremy chose the Olympic Park Institute, Crescent Lake, Olympic National Park as the venue for their February wedding. Above is a view of Crescent Lake on that February day.
Anna and Jeremy were happy to be able to spend a few days in the Olympic National Park with their family and friends and then get married at the Olympic Park Institute which they describe as “Nestled among the ancient forests, glacial lakes, and towering mountains of Olympic National Park, Olympic Park Institute is a beautiful natural setting to celebrate your wedding or commitment ceremony. Wake up to the hushed sounds of cedar and fir trees rustling in the breeze and step out of your cozy cabin to watch deer graze along the shore of Lake Crescent”. In fact as everyone was having their dinner I photographed a deer grazing outside the dining room. The facilities are on the rustic side rather than the elegant, but if you have Northwest blood in your veins you will enjoy the great outdoors surrounding the place. “Olympic Park Institute maintains modern and historic heated cabins that can accommodate between 70 and 120 guests. Rooms sleep two to six people, with common areas and an adjacent bathhouse with private showers. Wheelchair accessible facilities are available.”
Here are some pictures from their wedding day. The indoor building was fine for the ceremony but if you are planning a wedding in the summer, you could have the more spectacular Crescent Lake in the background of your wedding ceremony pictures.
