The Canal Wedding Photography of Martha and Adam

In December, Martha Tansik and Adam Sadoski were married at The Canal on what turned out to be a glorious sun-filled day when we were all expecting rain and dark clouds.I was fascinated by Martha’s dragon tattoo and was reminded of the Lisbeth Salander character in the novel by Stieg Larsson. I will highlight a few pictures here and include them in the mini-slideshow below. Share on Facebook

The view from The Canal is wonderful on a sunny day. Adam and Martha had a hand made book for their guests to sign. The had a cutting cake in addition to the delious cupcakes.

They had a simple Bahá’í marriage ceremony. Instead of having groomsmen and bridesmaids, Adam and Martha had the people who would have played those roles sing and recite inspirational passages on love from various sources including Hemmingway, The Velveteen Rabbit and Shakespeare. The only compulsory part of the wedding is the reading of the wedding vows which both the groom and the bride read, in the presence of two witnesses.

Here is a link The Canal Wedding Pictures to the wedding panorama from their wedding that I previously highlighted on my weddings only blog.
